The dress is a pretty green (jewel toned) with a slight sheen. It fits true to size. I did stitch up the neck opening a little higher as I am short waisted. It seems that it would be flattering to a lot of shapes. It adds definition but not clingy.
I am small busted and it was not a bit big for me. I almost thought the opposite. It was wrinkled from packaging so I did wash (rinse) it first and let it air dry before wearing.
