I would order according to the waist measurement not the bust or the hips. I originally ordered my true to size according to the bust and hips measurements (42” bust, 45” hips) which should’ve fit perfectly in the XL but were too small so I sized up to the 2XL for the waist measurement (38” waist) which is on the edge of being too snug but will work. This is a light cotton dress however I wouldn’t wear it on hot Midwest summer days. It’s more for cooler days or perfect for the fall. I think it would be really pretty if Amy added the scallop detail that’s on the hem to the cuffs of the sleeve to tie it all together. Would also be nice if this came in a few more sizes.

The material is really soft and comfortable. I was surprised by the length, I was fully expecting to have to get it hemmed. I'm 5'1 and it just touches the ground, so wearing a small heal to lift it will be no problem. It does fit a bit tighter in the waist than I expected and one of the reasons I bought it was because it was described as being nursing friendly. The buttons don't function well and the material isn't stretchy enough to pull it down to nurse (which isn't a huge deal). Overall I'm happy with it. It's comfortable, flattering and I'm not tripping over it!

Every wardrobe needs a to include a black dress! Mine was lacking one for a very long time! This outfit fits the bill! It’s plain, classy, and feminine. It is a great length and can be dressed up or down. The little scalloped edging at the bottom takes it to the classy level. My only minor issue is that the material (which is very soft and forgiving) is a little on the thin side.
