At 5'4", short waisted, 29 waist and 39 hips, I ordered an 8, 29in. true to size. I wear it lower on my hips, because, while the 6 fits better in the waist, the bum, is too, tight and would require technology. This skirt is comfortable and stretchy, you can get up, get dressed, and then if you needed to go somewhere a little more fancy, just do a quick change. You can make the color work, year round with the right tops!

I was so looking forward to this color, but it’s a lot darker than I thought. I returned it because it’s so dark it’s close to the burgundy color I bought last fall. I was looking for a brighter purple.
