The unique fabric, beautiful solid olive color, and flattering fit of this dress were a hit for me! I was looking for a long-sleeved midi or maxi dress to serve as my go-to church/semi-formal outfit for fall and winter, and I decided this dress would work well. My size has fluctuated a fair amount since giving birth to my first child, so the gathered waist is helpful. The full skirt is also helpful, as I want to stay covered while up and down caring for my toddler. I am only about 5'3", so the sleeves of this dress are disproportionately long on me; this does detract slightly from the overall look but ultimately was not a deal-breaker.
