I loved the color and material of this dress. The top half looked so good! But as with most sweater dresses, it just was not flattering around my waist and hips. I did size up hoping that would help but it didn’t unfortunately. I really was disappointed but oh well!

I ordered this black dress because I wanted something warm to wear in winter months. I typically wear a large in dresses however the sizing was a little less fitted (based on the chart) for this dress so I sized down to a medium. When I tried it on, the top section was more loose but the bottom skirt section was more fitted. Could be my body type as I carry a little extra in hip and bottom however I am a slight inverted triangle body shape so I was a little surprised that the skirt was more fitted for me. Overall, I really like the dress but think the fit is interesting. I love the material as it is soft and good quality. (I measured 32 in waist and 42 in hips and medium fits).
